First Strikemaster lost when collided with power lines and crashed into hillside at Waiau, North Canterbury during low level navigational training flight 03 July 1985.
Pilot Officer P. Lindsay ejected successfully.
This was RNZAF's 6th successful ejection and the 4th in New Zealand.

Crashed during training flight near Pahiatua 27 October 1992 when aircraft failed to recover from a spin commenced at 20,000 feet.
This was a test flight after the ailerons had been re-rigged. Pilot ejected safely.
This was RNZAF's 9th successful ejection and the 6th in New Zealand.

In 1986 was first of 6 Strikemasters to be rewinged by BAC in United Kingdom due wing cracking.
Crashed into forest near Ohaaki 20 kilometers from Taupo after failing to recover from an aerobatic manouevre at 1253 hours on 20 November 1991.
Flight Lieutenant Craig Tanner killed.
